A summary of my work experience

While my career has focused mostly on technical support and consultation, I do have a strong sales background. When working at Northside Ford, I outperformed all other salespeople and as a result, was promoted three times in one year.

When I began my time at Apple, I was a salesperson at an Apple retail store in Dallas, TX. I consistently surpassed all sales metrics and was a crucial part of developing what is now the Apple SMB teams based out of Apple retail stores. I was a part of most SMB sales as a technical sales consultant, including a deal that resulted in Frontier Airlines moving all FAA required manuals to iPads. I provided pre-sales tech consultation for Apple in the United Kingdom, Denver, and Austin, as well.

In 2011 I started my own business — a food trailer based on South Lamar. Our products could be expensive, but I made sure that each customer felt they got what they paid for. If they didn't, I refunded their purchase and invited them to come back and allow us the opportunity to earn their business. The personal connections we developed and the atmosphere we created resulted in multiple press interviews and being voted Top 5 burgers in Austin our first month open.

To be effective as a business owner, I needed to think big picture without losing sight of the day-to-day. I had to focus on my goals while being able to grow and develop my business organically. I closed the company in 2013 to focus my time on my family, returning to Apple and a more regular work/life balance.

In my current role at Apple, I am level 4 technical support. I work directly with our software engineering teams and support all Apple devices and products. I am also brought in as a technical advisor for SMB sales. My primary role in the sales environment is demonstrating to customers (decision-makers) how they can incorporate new Apple products into their existing SaaS solutions.

I realize that many of my skills involve technical support and issue resolution, but I have a solid sales background. I feel that my time in technical support has allowed me to develop the ability to speak to customers at all technical levels.

I know that what I can contribute to Facebook is substantial, and I know that I can excel as an Account/Partner Manager.
